NARESH Lakdawala is an export consultant who runs a training centre in Santacruz for people interested in pursuing their careers in exports. His students include fresh graduates, doctors, engineers, architects, housewives etc.
The course is a hands-on learning experience with 100% practical training. This includes practical documentation related to pre shipment, post shipment including L/C documentation, DEPB, DFRC, IEC code, advance licence, excise, scale tax formalities, Exim policies etc. The course also covers international marketing, section of countries and product for exports. The duration of this course is 45 days.
They can start their own import-export business or work with houses and shipping forms or become independent consultants to well-known export houses.
The export business is not limited to a selected few people from different professions (including doctors, engineers, housewives etc.) can get into this business.
No, however this is the only institute that teaches exports through 100% practical training. The batches here are limited to just six students per batch to give individual attention.
